I am going to be mad at RISD if it isn’t as awesome as they say it is. WHERE ARE THE OTHER RACES? I only see Asian & Caucasian. And no, I’m not black. I’m Asian. But seriously? Where’s the diversity at? And where are the lesbians?

Just don’t fucking bother making assumptions before you’ve even spent a semester at college. Find everything out for yourself, because all the rumors and all the ‘facts’ you hear on the internet and from others are nothing compared to your actual experience.
So just forget everything you heard and shut the fuck up, you excited little freshman. Welcome to RISD.

I’m black at risd, and I don’t concern myself with that. If it bothers you enough that it distracts you, stop asking questions and try doing something about it. I’m here to get a well rounded art education, and so far I’m succeeding. You won’t even notice if you are putting you thoughts and energy into your work and friends.
What does it matter? We are all people.
